About
Judy Zhou, a Computer Science major and an Art minor at Hamilton College, is passionate about the intersection between technology and art. This is shown through her work in creating Empathy Walk, a virtual reality and social impact project in which creates awareness to help people understand the meaning of privilege by participating in a walk of privilege exercise. From her project, she has been invited to present to the Hamilton Board of Trustees, Skidmore College, and Fairfield College and has been featured on A View From College Hill.
Her expertise in technology includes 3D printed reference models for the Advanced 3D class and 3D scanned minerals for the Geology department. Her expertise expands past technology as she also hosted art and technology workshops for students, and assisted Hamilton students to create virtual reality environments for the literature course, Virtual Realities and Literature. She is currently the Assistant Web Developer at Hamilton College and is the Class of 2019. After she graduates, she hopes to create a positive social impact in the world through the use of technology.
